Martin Archer
Director Legal and Claims

Qualifications: LL.B, Solicitor (non-practising)

Martin has overall responsibility for ensuring claims notified are dealt with in a cost-effective and efficient manner. He read law at University College Cardiff and qualified as a Solicitor with Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, specialising in Professional Indemnity. He joined Collegiate Management Services Ltd in April 1995.
Martin has solid experience with Professional Indemnity claims against a range of disciplines, in particular Financial Advisers, Insurance Brokers, Surveyors and Accountants. Martin has also provided detailed responses to a number of Consultation Papers issued by the Regulators. He has been involved in a number of high profile Judicial Review and test cases. He was also a Contributor to The Insurance Institute of London’s book “Professional Indemnity Insurance Case law, regulation and practice”.



Mark Bates
Senior Claims Manager

Qualifications: LL.B (Hons), Solicitor (Non-Practising)

Mark read law at the University of Luton and received a Hoffman Scholarship for International Jurisprdence and Human Rights in Strasbourg. Mark qualified as a Solicitor with Staffurth & Bray specialising in Civil Litigation before joining the Collegiate Legal Team in February 2001. He is responsible for a diverse range of Professional Indemnity claims.



Mark Campbell
Senior Claims Manager

Qualifications: BA (Hons) Financial Planning Certificate (FPC3)

Mark read Communication Studies & Writing and Publishing at Middlesex University before training as a Financial Adviser with City Financial Partners Ltd and Friends Provident. He joined Collegiate in 1998, dealing with Professional Indemnity Claims from Independent Financial Advisers and Insurance Brokers. Since then, Mark has handled claims in respect of a wide variety of professions, including, accountants, surveyors, letting agents and architects. Mark is also involved in the training and supervision of new staff.



Robert Lewis
Senior Claims Manager

Qualifications: LL.B (Hons), Solicitor (Non-Practising)

Robert read law at the University of East Anglia. He qualified with Eversheds in September 2001 having gained experience, in Commercial Law, Property and Commercial Litigation. During his time at Eversheds , Robert also gained in-house experience with Norwich Union. Robert joined Collegiate in March 2003 as a Claims Manager in the Legal Department and is responsible for a wide range of Professional Indemnity claims.



Amy Barnes
Senior Claims Manager

Qualifications: LLB Law (Hons)

Amy graduated from the University of Warwick with a Second Class Honours (Division One) in Law in 2010, before completing her Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Law School in London. She was called to the Middle Temple Bar in 2011 having been awarded the Jules Thorn Scholarship. Amy joined Collegiate in July 2011 as a Claims Handler, focusing on a range of Professional Indemnity claims against IFAs.



Jon Stagg
Claims Manager

Jon graduated from the University of East Anglia with a joint honours degree in Sociology and History in 2004, before completing the Post Graduate Diploma in Law at London Metropolitan University. Before attending university Jon gained ten years experience of the insurance market working with both Lowndes Lambert UK Ltd (now Heath Lambert) and Norwich Union. Jon joined Collegiate in August 2005 as a Claims Manager, focusing on a range of Professional Indemnity claims against IFAs.



Chris Gibbon
Senior Claims Manager

Chris graduated from the University of Lancaster in 2009 with Second Class Honours (Division 1) in Philosophy and Politics. He then went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies at the University of Birmingham in July 2010. Chris joined Collegiate the same month as a Claims Handler dealing with range of Professional Indemnity claims.



Amy Skehill-Miller
Claims Handler

Qualifications: LLB Law (Hons)

Amy graduated from the University of Exeter with a Second Class Honours (Division One) in Law in 2012, before completing her Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Law School in London. She was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 2013. Amy joined Collegiate in August 2013 as a Claims Handler, focusing on a wide range of Professional Indemnity claims.



Aaron Mulford
Claims Handler

Qualifications: LLB Law (Hons), LL. M

Aaron graduated from the University of Southampton in 2014 with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) degree in Law. Aaron joined Collegiate in September 2014 and works on a range of professional indemnity claims. Aaron also received his Masters in Insurance Law, in which he attained a Merit, from the University of Southampton in 2017.



Lucas Matson-Silva
Claims Handler

Qualifications: LLB Law (Hons) LLB Law (Hons)

Lucas graduated from the University of Warwick in July 2015 with a Second Class Honours (Division One) in Law. Lucas joined Collegiate in December 2015 and has since worked on a wide range of Professional Indemnity claims against a variety of professionals including IFAs, accountants, surveyors and architects.



Kate Atcherley
Claims Handler

Qualifications: LLB Law (Hons)

Kate graduated from the University of Warwick in 2016 with a Second Class Honours (Division One) in Law. Kate joined Collegiate as a Claims Handler in October 2016.



Joseph Pendlebury
Claims Handler

Qualifications: LLB Law (Hons)

Joseph graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2016 with a Second Class Honours (Division One) in Law. Whilst at University, Joseph partook in the prestigious University of Liverpool Negotiation Competition, which he won consecutively in 2014 and 2015. Joseph joined Collegiate as a Claims Handler in January 2017.



Rob Tailford
Claims Handler

Qualifications: LLB Law (Hons)

Rob graduated from the University of York in 2015 with a Second Class Honours (Division One) in Law. Rob joined Collegiate in May 2018 as a Claims Handler working on range of Professional Indemnity claims.



Senait Mewael

Qualification: BA Accounting & Finance (Hons)

I graduated from South-Bank University in Accounting and Finance in 1999 having gained experiences in accounting & finance in different sectors. I joined Collegiate in 2014 as Claim Administrator in the Legal Department.



Kieran Wilkinson
Claims Operations


After completing his A-levels, Kieran worked as a technician for a General MGA broker & underwriter in Southend for 2 years, broking risks for sub brokers and direct clients for UK risks – with a niche for Northern Irish based commercial and personal insurance. Kieran has also got experience with accounts and underwriting and accomplished his Cert CII title in his first year. He moved to Collegiate in August 2017 to specialise in Professional Indemnity claims and is now studying towards the CII Diploma.
